Biography
I have always been fascinated by the human condition. Why do we do what we do? Why does change feel so uncomfortable? And why do so many of us experience a quiet tension between our personal values and the pressures to perform, achieve, and succeed?
I retrained as a psychologist following several years working in high-performing teams in high-stakes, high-pressure environments. That experience gave me a deep, practical understanding of organisational life. Not just how it should work in theory, but how it really feels day to day. My research has focused on what great managers actually do, how organisations create the conditions for innovation, and how belonging at work affects wellbeing and performance. I was awarded a British Psychological Society prize for my research into belongingness at work and its relationship with minority stress, an area I continue to care deeply about.
Since qualifying as a Chartered Psychologist, I have worked across a wide range of organisational contexts, translating psychological insight into practical, human solutions that work in complex, real-world systems. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practitioner psychologist, and I am currently completing a postgraduate diploma in coaching and counselling, which continues to deepen and inform my practice.
At the heart of my work is relationship. I work one-to-one with clients to build trust, deepen self-understanding, and gently challenge blind spots, helping people unlock their strengths, navigate complexity, and create lives that feel both successful and meaningful, inside and outside of work. I am also an experienced workshop facilitator, working with teams to strengthen psychological safety, build trust, increase belonging, and create the conditions where people can truly think, learn, and innovate together.
I believe that learning about yourself does not have to be heavy or intimidating. It can be curious, creative, and even enjoyable. I bring warmth, humour, and a sense of lightness to my work, alongside rigorous thinking and problem-solving, because meaningful change tends to happen when people feel safe, understood, and just a little more themselves.
